5313. Ethics in Technical Communication
 
Description: You will be introduced to theories and philosophies of ethics from various disciplines. You will use case studies in technical communication to negotiate these theories and solve ethical dilemmas and conflicts.   

Goal: To provide you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skill needed to identify and resolve ethical dilemmas in technical communication.

Textbooks: Ethics in Technical Communication by Paul Dombrowski and A Legal Primer for the Digital Age by Tyanna K. Herrington. Journal articles will be assigned weekly.
